Step 1: Online Application

Students must send the generated Online Application PDF to SEM coordinator via email:
Step 2: Final Application Email all required application docs to SEM in one PDF(see the list below) Deadline: 15th May
Send the required original application docs by POST to SEM Deadline: 20th May

Application fee: RMB 410
Application fee should be paid when applying and the fee is non-refundable(For bank account details,pls see below).
The Required Final Application Documents Checklist:
  • Generated online application form with applicant’s signature
  • Copy of Passport
  • English Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, GRE)-for students from non-native English speaking countries
  • Transfer voucher of application fee
  • A Bachelor Degree certificate. If the certificate is not in English or Chinese, the original notarized translated versions must be submitted

    * Certificate of expected graduation issued by education in current academic institution (for applicants who will be graduating in the same year only).

    * Degree certificate is required to be verified and notarized documents must be submitted at the registration.

  • Original or notarized academic transcripts. If the academic transcripts are not in English or Chinese, the original notarized translated document must be submitted.
  • Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors, in English (signature and contact information are necessary, sealed in envelop).
  • Personal statement. Around 1000 words in English. Study and work experience, academic research achievement, planned research proposal should be included, and individual development objective after graduation.
  • Catalogue and abstract of published papers, other documents that can prove academic ability(if applicable).

The tuition fee can be paid in two installments—RMB 79,000 per year.
