The 10th International Conference on Smart Finance
Theme: Shaping Finance Smarter: Redefining Financial Innovation with AI
The 10th International Conference on Smart Finance (ICSF2025) jointly hosted by the School of Economics and Management, Tongji University (Tongji SEM), the Shenzhen Institute of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University and the Institute of Innovation Management, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School will take place on July 1-2, 2025, in Tongji SEM, Shanghai, China, under the theme “Shaping Finance Smarter: Redefining Financial Innovation with AI”.
The International Conference on Smart Finance (ICSF), established in 2016 and affiliated with the Association for Information Systems (AIS), has emerged as a leading platform for academic-industry collaboration in smart finance. Over the years, ICSF has successfully convened in major cities such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Dubai, fostering cutting-edge dialogue between researchers and industry leaders.
Smart Finance integrates FinTech with data-driven technologies like AI, blockchain, and big data, alongside new financial models such as digital currencies and smart contracts. As foundation models (e.g. Deepseek, ChatGPT, Claude) rapidly evolve, they drive the transformation of Smart Finance, expanding financial innovation. While these technologies enhance financial systems through predictive analytics, personalized services, and risk management, they also present challenges related to ethics, privacy, and regulation. Featuring keynote speeches and paper sessions, ICSF2025 aims to bridge academic research and industrial practice, addressing challenges and unlocking opportunities in AI-driven financial innovation.
