Q1: Can Diploma/Degree holders from overseas institutions apply?

A: Tongji University accept the overseas diploma/degree which is recognized by MOE of PRC.

 

Q2: How do I apply for Tongji EMBA?

A: 1. Please visit our official website or contact us by the telephone number: 021-65988682, 65984950 to get our application form.

  2. Please complete the application form and send back by fax or email with the copies of your certificate and degree.

  3. After the qualification assessment, the admission staff will contact the qualified applicant and send the official “Tongji EMBA application form” by mail or email.

  4. The applicant is required to send back the official application form and all the documents within 2-3 weeks.  After the assessment by the admission committee, Tongji EMBA center will arrange the interview and written test for the qualified applicant.

 

Q3: I only have an associate degree. Am I qualified to apply for the EMBA?

A: According to the admission requirement issued by MOE, every year we can only accept 10% of outstanding management personnel with associate degree. Please submit a resume to the EMBA center highlighting your career achievements. The admission committee will consider these achievements in assessing your application.

 

Q4: Is there any overseas study in the program?

A: Upon the completion of the courses study, the EMBA center will organize the study trips (self-funded)to USA, Europe and Taiwan with the partner institutions.

 

Q5: What’s the duration of Tongji EMBA program and how is the study scheduled?

A: The duration of schooling is about 2 years (on-the-job learning), four days’ schooling include a weekend every month (from Thursday to Sunday).

 

Q6: What sort of degree will be awarded after finishing the EMBA program?

A: Students can obtain the Tongji University EBMA degree certificate issued by the Degree Committee of the State Council after completing the course credits and passing the dissertation defense.

 

Q7: What would be included in the tuition fee?

A: The tuition fee includes lecture fee, textbooks fee, translation fee, college resources (library, computer center) fee, the thesis oral defense fee, tea break fee when schooling. The overseas study trip is not included.

 

Q8: How about the application procedure?

A: The Tongji EMBA admission committee will arrange the interview and written test for the qualified applicants.

1.Interview

Interview with Admissions Committee composed of professors, president and HR director from large-scale enterprise, for both sides, the applicant and Admission Committee acquire a deep understanding of applicant’s goals, expectations, motivation and personality.

2.Written Test

Focus on logical analysis, the knowledge structure and ability to solve problems.

3.Admission Notification

An admission decision will be made based on the evaluation of your interview and written test, if you are qualified, you will receive admission offer.
