The Department of Organizational Management was established in 2018. The original department was called the Department of Business Administration, which pertained to strategy, marketing, and organizational management. The Department of Organizational Management provides courses for undergraduate, master, and doctoral students. The faculty members graduated from famous American, Hong Kong, and mainland Chinese universities.
The Department of Organizational Management has 13 faculty members: 7 full professors, 4 associate professors, and 2 lecturers/assistant professors. Its research focuses on both theoretical and practical implications, and aims to help local and international organizations to handle management issues. The faculty members have been the principal investigators for many national grants and local projects, and published their work at the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and Management World (in Chinese).
