The International Office of Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin organizes one of Germany’s largest winter school programs:

Undergraduate students from all over the world interested in an international learning experience. 

1.      English as course language

2.      international experienced lecturers and professors

3.     possible combination of German language and subject courses

4.     connection of theory and practice

5.     credit transferability in consultation with the respective home university

6.     an accompanying cultural program led by experienced student tutors

1.      interdisciplinarity covering a wide range of topics from, e.g. social sciences, politics, history, and culture, is a key factor of the HUWISU concept

2.     NEW: During the winter session 2013 HUWISU extends its portfolio of themes introducing a new co-operation with the Faculty of Law:

In the course Medical Ethics and the Law lecturers of two different disciplines conjoin their experience and expertise and thus provide a comprehensive picture of currently often discussed topics, such as assisted suicide, abortion, ethical approaches, stem cell research, etc.
