On the 18^th of December, the 4^th conference of the 1^st Alumni Council of Tongji SEM was held in Tongji Building A.

Prof. LEI Xinghui, Vice Dean of Graduate School and the consultant of SEM Alumni Council, extended warm welcome and gratitude to all the alumni. He introduced the development of Tongji University in 2016 and gave full recognition to SEM’s achievement in the international accreditations and its development in the recent years. He extended wishes that SEM alumni could provide more guidance for the school in terms of improvement of students and faculty.

Prof. JIN Fu’an, Director of SEM and the consultant of SEM Alumni Council, briefed the development of SEM over the past one year in regards to new faculty recruitment, output of scientific research, social contributions, alumni, international cooperation and rankings.

SEM management team members and some faculties and staff presented at the event. Topics were discussed on 110 Anniversary of Tongji University and donations by the society to SEM. The event was hosted by Prof. HUO Jiazhen, the president of SEM Alumni Council.
