Xie’s current research mainly focuses on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management.
Xie has been selected as multiple talent projects, including National Excellent Young Scientists Fund, Distinguished Visiting Professor (Eastern Scholar) of Shanghai, “Pu Jiang” Talent of Shanghai, and “Shu Guang” Scholar of Shanghai.
Xie has been in charge of 17 national, provincial and ministerial key programs, including Major Program of National Social Science Foundation of China (chief expert), National Excellent Young Scientists Fund, General Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Soft Science Research Key Project of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and Key Research and Innovation Project of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, et al. Among them, she has presided over 4 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, of which two completed projects were evaluated as “Extra-Excellent” and “Excellent” respectively.
Xie has published more than 80 articles in core academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 50 academic papers in international journals (SSCI-indexed), and more than 20 academic papers in major domestic NSFC A-level journals (e.g. “Management World” and “Journal of Management Sciences in China”).
Xie has been received many awards and honors in academic areas, including “Second Prize of philosophy and Social Sciences outstanding achievement award in Shanghai Province,”, “Second Prize of decision consulting research achievement award in Shanghai Province,” and “RDM Best Paper Award”, et al.
