The winners of the 14th Shanghai Decision-making Consulting Research Achievement Award have been announced. The research project “Study on the New Round Development Strategy of Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center” led by Professor CHEN Qiang from Tongji SEM won the 2^nd prize. Congratulations on this achievement!

A total of 80 achievements in the city were awarded for subject reports, theses, and other research results that demonstrate foresight, originality, and scientific rigor. These achievements provide decision-making consulting services for Shanghai’s economic, social, and urban development, as well as the city’s implementation of the CPC Central Committee’s decision-making and deployment of national strategies.

The report analyses the construction progress of the Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center. It systematically examines the main issues from the perspectives of resilience, tension, vitality, viscosity, and elasticity. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive assessment of the challenges facing the construction of the center. The report proposes target designs and strategic measures to accelerate the new round of development of the Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center.
