On June 21, 2024, TJSEM and Grenoble Ecole de Management, France officially signed a memorandum of cooperation. The two sides will carry out extensive cooperation in related academic fields such as joint training of talents and joint research of teachers, which is another landmark achievement of our college to promote cooperation with first-class universities in France, and will help promote the cultivation of outstanding talents with high-level research ability and international vision. Prof. Philippe MONIN, Academic Dean of Grenoble, Prof. Yan Jie, Prof. SHI Qian, Chairman of School Council of Tongji-SEM, and Prof. Wang Hongwei, Deputy Dean for International Affairs and Academic Affairs of Tongji-SEM, attended the signing ceremony.

On behalf of the College, Prof. SHI expressed his warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced to the delegation the history and development of the College, and reviewed the cooperation with Grenoble and the details of student exchange.

Prof. MONIN expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of SEM. He pointed out that the friendship between the two sides has a long history, and since 2005, there have been more than 19 years of cooperation. While recognizing the good foundation of cooperation between the two schools, he hoped to work together to draw a new chapter of exchange and cooperation in the future.

Under the joint witness of all participants, Prof. SHI and Prof. MONIN officially signed a memorandum of cooperation and exchanged souvenirs.

The signing ceremony greatly promoted the awareness and understanding between the two sides, opened up new ideas for project cooperation, and laid a foundation for the implementation and promotion of talent cooperation and cultivation between the two sides in the future. Both sides will work together to cultivate outstanding innovative talents who will shape the future of the two countries and the world, jointly lead the frontiers of scientific exploration, and commit themselves to proposing more insightful solutions for global development.
