On the afternoon of June 20th, the lecture titled “Digital Intelligence Technologies Empowering Securities Companies to Transform Digitally”as well as the“Shareholders Are Here” Investment Competition Promotion Event were successfully held at Jiading campus. Professor ZHONG Ninghua, Deputy Dean of SEM at Tongji University, presided the lecture and presented a Letter of Appreciation from the Advanced Lecture to Mr. YUAN Bo, Deputy General Manager of the Information Data Platform Operations Department at Guotai Junan Securities. The event was attended by Mr. JIN Wen, Secretary General of the Shanghai Futures Industry Association, and Ms. CAO Xiaoling, Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Education Center at SEM. This lecture is one of the collaborative efforts between Tongji University and Guotai Junan in building an innovative practice base integrating industry and education. It marks the first systematic practical training collaboration between Guotai Junan’s Information Technology Division and a university, focusing on mutual cooperation in practice base construction, curriculum development, career guidance, and resource sharing. Both parties aim to further expand and deepen their cooperation in the future.

Mr. YUAN Bo, Deputy General Manager of the Information Data Platform Operations Department at Guotai Junan Securities, conducted a special lecture on how ” Digital intelligence technologies” empower the digital transformation of securities companies. At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. YUAN provided an in-depth exploration of the significant implications of the current digital wave on the securities industry to the attending faculty and students. He detailed how digital transformation significantly enhances the comprehensive business capabilities of securities firms. Moreover, he analyzed specific application scenarios of “digital intelligence technologies” in the digital transformation of securities companies and their practical outcomes. Through vivid case studies, he showcased Guotai Junan Securities’ outstanding achievements in user profiling analysis, risk assessment, and intelligent trading, demonstrating the extensive application and significant value of big data and artificial intelligence technologies in the securities industry.

On the same day, the Shanghai Futures Industry Association, in collaboration with Guotai Junan Securities, held a “Shareholders Are Here” promotional fair at the Jiading Campus of Tongji University. The event featured interactive knowledge quizzes to promote investor rights awareness, creating a lively atmosphere on the ground. This educational event combined education and entertainment, helping students to quickly develop a macro understanding of capital markets, learn about market diversity, establish wealth management concepts, and guide investors to objectively understand the significance and role of capital market reforms.
