On the morning of Oct. 17^th, the rector’s delegation led by Prof. Sergio CAVALIERI, Rector, University of Bergamo, along with Prof. Mariafrancesca SICILIA, Vice Rector of Research, University of Bergamo, and Prof. Flaminia NICORA, Vice Rector of International Relations, University of Bergamo, visited our school. Prof. SHI Qian, Senior Deputy Dean of Tongji SEM, Prof. ZHONG Ninghua, Deputy Dean of Tongji SEM, Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Former Dean of Tongji SEM, and Ms. SHOU Yuexian, Director of Public Relations and Communication Center, and Deputy Director of EMBA and MBA Programs Center of Tongji SEM, warmly welcomed the guests. In the meeting, both parties introduced the development history of the respective institutions and the current status and characteristics of the advantageous disciplines. Besides, the in-depth discussions are conducted on potential cooperation fields including mutual students exchange and faculty research collaboration, etc.

On the afternoon of Oct. 17^th, the delegation from University of Bergamo attended the 2025 China-EU university presidents’ dialogue hosted by Tongji University. Leaders from 45 universities across China and Europe gathered at Tongji University for the 2025 China-EU university presidents’ dialogue, focusing on engineering education and global cooperation in the age of intelligence. The dialogue, a follow-up to last December’s meeting in Madrid, Spain, brought together presidents and vice-presidents from 30 European and 15 Chinese institutions, along with industry representatives and renowned scholars from countries including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Sweden.
