Announcement on Registration of Fall Semester 2011

Dear Students,
All the International students, who are supposed to continue their study in TONGJI next semester, please pay attention to the following Fall Semester 2011 Calendar.
Expected Arrival Date on campus: Not earlier than August 30, 2011.
Not later than August 31, 2011.
Aug 30 – Sep 02, 2011: Course registration (Early register, early choose; Submission due time: 0:00, Sept. 3rd, 2011)
Sept 05, 2011: Class begins
Sept.05 – 11, 2011: System open to change / cancel the courses you selected
Sept.12, 2011: Course registration closes.
Jan 02, 2012 (tbc): Examination weeks begins:
Jan 13, 2012 (tbc): End of examinations
ATTENTION:
1. The exam schedule is set in accordance with SEM-Tongji semester dates. It is possible that there will be exams on the last day of the semester. We strongly recommend that students book their return flights with the semester dates in mind. SEM-Tongji will not modify the exam schedule due to early departure flights.
2. Online courses selection system will be open to international students from Aug 30th, 2011 in SEM-Tongji. Students have one week (NOT Two weeks) to change and cancel his or her courses. Each course has its restrictions on number of students and will follow the “Early register, early choose” rule. One should take his or her own responsibility if he or she fails to register courses within the required dates.
