工学博士,同济大学经济与管理学院教授,联合国环境署-同济大学环境与可持续发展学院绿色经济责任教授,现任同济大学公共管理系主任。
研究领域为资源环境管理、生态经济学、产业生态学,研究兴趣包括水资源-能源关联的协同管理、能源系统低碳转型的技术政策、社会经济代谢转型与资源效率演变、大数据驱动的亲环境行为分析等。在Nature Energy、Environmental Science & Technology、Ecological Economics、Applied Energy、Resources Conservation & Recycling等学术期刊发表论文50余篇;代表性研究成果曾被《中国科学报》头版报道,获教育部第九届高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖(人文社会科学青年成果奖)、Emerald杰出引用奖、华人产业生态学会年度最佳论文奖。
主持国家自然科学基金项目3项、国家社科基金重大项目子课题2项;入选上海市教委“曙光计划”、“晨光计划”人才项目,获上海市人才发展基金资助;承担世界银行、世界资源研究所、能源基金会、水利部水利水电规划设计总院等机构的咨询项目。
担任中科院一区期刊Sustainable Production and Consumption编辑、《中国人口∙资源与环境》期刊学术编辑。担任中国生态学学会产业生态学专业委员会委员、中国自然资源学会资源流动与管理专业委员会委员、中国城市科学研究会城市群绿色发展专业委员会委员等学术兼职。
主讲博士生课程《可持续发展经济学前沿研究》,合作开设《全球环境展望》、《碳中和理论与技术》等跨学科课程;连续多年参与同济大学“可持续发展辅修专业”旗舰课程《可持续发展与未来》专题讲座。
Chao Zhang is a Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Tongji University, and an Adjunct Professor of green economy at the UN Environment-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development. He is currently the Director of the Department of Public Administration at Tongji University. His research areas include resource and environmental system analysis, industrial ecology, and ecological economics. He has authored more than 50 papers published in leading academic journals such as Nature Energy, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Energy, Ecological Economics, Resources, Conservation & Recycling, etc.. His representative work has been recognized with awards including the Outstanding Research Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences from China’s Ministry of Education, and the Best Paper Award from the Chinese Society of Industrial Ecology. He has led three research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and three young talent projects funded by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. He serves as an external expert for several renowned international organizations, such as the World Bank, the World Resources Institute, and the Energy Foundation. He is also a committee member of several academic bodies, including Academic Committee of Urban Green Development in Chinese Society of Urban Studies, Academic Committee of Resource Flow and Management in Chinese Society of Natural Resources, and Academic Committee of Industrial Ecology, Chinese Society of Ecology.
