Greetings from Vienna!
We are pleased to announce the 27th International Summer UniversityWU (ISUWU) program for July and August 2016 at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). This internationally orientated, academic short-program will take place in two sessions in Vienna, Austria’s capital city. The new and modern WU Campus serves as the venue for the ISUWU and provides excellent infrastructure and a modern architectural environment.
We are currently preparing printed promotional material which will be sent to your institution via postal service in the next few days. We ask you to please distribute these materials to your students who are interested in participating.
The Program:
The ISUWU is being held for the 27th consecutive time in WU’s history, making it a summer program with a rich history. Each session, one held in July and one in August, is three weeks long and offers a broad range of business courses in English, both on undergraduate and graduate level. The courses are taught by an international team of experienced lecturers hailing both from WU and our partner universities.
An exciting social and cultural program, featuring numerous outdoor and indoor activities, enriches the academic framework of our summer university. All these activities take place in Vienna, a city which hosts many major international organizations and is well known for being the city with the highest quality of living, according to the Mercer quality of living survey for the 6th consecutive time.
Costs:
Interested students pay a participation fee consisting of the program fee (expenses for accommodation, food and other services included) & tuition fee. Students from WU partner universities receive a reduced tuition rate. They can also be nominated as part of the exchange balance and, thus, would not pay tuition at all, just paying the program fee. If students are nominated by the partner university under the so-called waived tuition-scheme, we ask coordinators to use the attached nomination form and send the filled-in form to the ISUWU program manager (sarina.gludovatz@wu.ac.at) via email until March 15, 2016 at the latest.
