On the 19^th of November, Research Center of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Financing, Tongji University was established in Tongji SEM. The first urban Index of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Financing is going to be released in Tongji University.  The Advanced Institute of Business Research (AIBR) of Tongji SEM has started calling up expert team to work on theoretical and application research on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Financing. In April and May 2018, the first Index of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Financing will be released to the world echoing with the International Exhibition of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to be held in Tongji.

Prof. JIANG Bo, Vice President of Tongji University, Mr. ZHU Qigao, Associate Director of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Mr. QIU Wenjin, Associate Director of Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, Mr. XIAO Shuilong, President of CDF-Capital Company, Prof. LI Yuan, Dean of SEM, Prof. JIN Fu-an, Senior Deputy Dean of SEM, and other honorable guests were present at the opening ceremony of the research center. After the ceremony, a summit forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship was held with hundreds of audience attending including many experts and professors from more than 30 universities and guests and professionals from over 20 companies.
