Recently, the “SSE(Shanghai Stock Exchange) University Practical Course System” jointly promoted by Tongji SEM, Shanghai Stock Exchange and Haitong Securities Co., Ltd was officially launched.

Ms. ZHANG Xiaofei, Senior Manager of SSE Capital Market Research Institute , and Mr. ZHANG Jiufu, Manager of SSE Investor Service Department, were invited to give the first lecture to our undergraduate students on November 3^rd. They shared their views on global economic situation and China’s capital development, introduced the domestic and foreign stock markets from the aspects of development history, development status and development trends, and presented the achievements of China’s capital market in the past 30 years.

The “SSE University Practical Course System” aims to implement the requirements of “Memorandum of Cooperation on Strengthening the Popularization of Securities and Futures Knowledge ” jointly issued by the Securities Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Education. On September 9^th, 2020, Tongji SEM signed a memorandum of cooperation with Shanghai Stock Exchange and Haitong Securities Co., Ltd., to jointly launch a course system, which includes a series of lectures on stocks, bonds, funds, and derivatives. In the future, Tongji SEM will invite industry professionals from Haitong to give lectures to our undergraduate students. At the same time, Tongji SEM will conduct company visits to gradually build a series of high-quality and standardized “Securities Investment Theoretical and Practical Courses”.
