On September 2^nd, the 2022 World Artificial Intelligence Conference · Intelligent  Society Forum with the theme of “Intelligent Society and Collaborative Governance” was held simultaneously online and offline. This forum is jointly hosted by Tongji University and the people’s Government of Yangpu District of Shanghai. It is co-organized by the National Comprehensive Experimental Base for Smart Social Governance (Shanghai Yangpu), Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Social Governance Collaborative Innovation Center, Shanghai Autonomous Intelligent Unmanned System Science Center, and China (Shanghai) Digital City Research Institute.

Prof. SHI Qian, Senior Deputy Dean of School of Economics and Management of Tongji University (Tongji SEM), introduced the “Experimental Plan” and planned to build the base into a sample of national intelligent social governance. The forum also set up keynote speeches and round-table dialogues. The participating experts shared cutting-edge research results based on their own research disciplines, and made suggestions for the experiment of intelligent social governance based on the actual work.
