On November 25, Shanghai Education Commission announced the project list of 2023 Shanghai Education Commission’s Scientific Research and Innovation Plan. There were 17 major projects in humanities and social sciences. Among them, two approved projects of Tongji University were submitted by Prof. Cheng Mingsheng and Prof. Liang Jian of Tongji SEM, with a total fund of 1.5 million yuan.

Since the 19^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Tongji SEM has adhered to the “four orientations”, centered on Management Science and Engineering Shanghai peak discipline and Tongji University first-class discipline construction task, encouraged the application of high-level scientific research projects, and carried out the discipline and scientific research ability improvement plan with quality improvement as the core. The college would continuously improve its ability to undertake major national and regional strategic tasks, and contribute Tongji wisdom to the economic and social development of the country, Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta.
