On the afternoon of 22 March, the “East Money Investor Education” Tongji session and the lecture on “Financial Intelligence, Digital Innovation – Innovation Paradigms and Financial Scenario Applications in the Era of General Artificial Intelligence” were successfully held at Tongji SEM.  More than two hundred students from nearly 20 colleges of Tongji University attended the event. Mr. LIU Zhiyi is currently the Chief Scientist of East Money AI Research Institute, a member of AI Ethics Working Committee of China Artificial Intelligence Society, the Executive Director of Computational Jurisprudence and Artificial Intelligence Ethics Research Centre of Shanghai Jiaotong University, a special researcher of AI and Marketing Research Centre of Shanghai Jiaotong University-ATCEM, a researcher of Qingyuan Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the Director of AI Ethics Special Committee of Shanghai Open Source Technology and Information Association. He is also an ethics expert of the Bio-Digital Convergence System Evaluation Group (IEC/SMB/SEG12) of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), an expert of National Artificial Intelligence Standard Overall Group, a member of the Trustworthy AI Expert Committee of the AIIA Alliance, and an expert member of the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Technology Association (SATA). His main research areas include AI ethics and governance, intelligent economy and digital economics, etc. His personal academic monographs include “The Enlightenment of Intelligence”, “Digital Economics”, “AI and Blockchain Intelligence”, etc. He has published several monographs in English and translated monographs from overseas.

Mr. ZHANG Kai is the scientific research leader of East Money Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, the former head of Data Intelligence Department of East Money, Shanghai software development skills, national AI trainer level-2 technician, an expert of AIIA Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance industry, CCAI & ISAI technical committee member and paper reviewer, and an IEEE Robotics and Automation Association expert. He has been focusing on artificial intelligence and big data research for more than 15 years, leading a team of dozens of people to build an AI platform, precipitating basic standardized AI capabilities such as text parsing, image recognition, voice recognition, etc., and realizing various types of AI products and intelligent services, such as financial data governance, intelligent customer service, intelligent investment research and investment consulting, intelligent public opinion analysis service, intelligent financial risk control and anti-fraud, personalized recommendation and search service, etc., by combing traditional AI and big model.

  LIU Zhiyi, Chief Scientist of East Money Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, gave a keynote speech to the students on the topic of “Innovative Paradigms and Financial Scenario Applications in the Era of General Artificial Intelligence”, in which he gave a detailed introduction to the basic concepts and characteristics of AI, including its self-learning and self-optimization capabilities, and how to make use of these characteristics to deal with complex problems and scenarios. The speech focused on the impact of the development of big model technology on AI, and how big models offer possibilities for the implementation of general AI, especially the application of AI in the field of finance, and examined the development trend of incorporating big model technology.
