On the 13th of April, Tongji SEM’s 2024 Spring Job Fair was held in Building A. This job fair was the venue of the special programme “Youth Employment Season, We Are Taking Action” launched by Shanghai Media Group (hereinafter referred to as SMG) and Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the recruiting team of various renowned companies and students of our college were interviewed, which conveyed the real and positive recruitment situation of college students to the society. Prof. SHI Qian, Party Secretary of Tongji SEM, Ms. DONG Bianlin, Deputy Party Secretary, and Prof. CHEN Xun, Director of the Career Development Centre, attended the event.

The job fair received wide attention and support from employers and provided nearly 300 positions for fresh graduates and junior students. Students holding resumes actively showed their professional skills and practical experience in front of the preferred booth and had deep exchanges with enterprise; recruiters introduced in detail the corporate culture, job information and development prospects, and patiently answered questions for the students, in order to find the most suitable talent.

In addition to the job fair site, Huazhou Group’s special presentation was held at the same time in Room 408, Building A, which was recorded and broadcasted on-live by SMG. After the Job Fair, Prof. SHI Qian, Party Secretary of SEM, was interviewed by SMG.
