Paris 2024 Olympic Games: QIN Haiyang from Tongji SEM and Teammates won Gold Medal!

In the early morning of August 5th, Beijing time, on the last day of swimming at the Paris Olympics, Chinese swimmer QIN Haiyang, a master’s student at Tongji SEM, along with his teammates XU Jiayu, SUN Jiajun and PAN Zhanle, made a historic breakthrough in the Men’s 4x100m Medley Relay, winning Olympic gold for the first time.
This is the 19th gold medal won by the Chinese sports delegation at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the 2nd gold medal won by the Chinese swimming team at this edition. It broke USA Swimming’s gold medal monopoly in the event for more than 40 years.
