The final round of the 16th National College Mathematics Competition was recently completed, with Tongji University students winning 4 first prizes and 1 second prize. Among them, YIN Wenxu, an undergraduate student in the class of 2021 majoring in Information Management and Information Systems at the Tongji SEM, won the first prize in the non-mathematics major group!

Organized by the Chinese Mathematical Society, this prestigious national competition attracted over 320,000 students from 1,223 universities in 32 regions. After a rigorous selection process, 1,254 students from 352 universities made it to the finals, the largest number in the event’s history.

The excellent achievement of YIN Wenxu in the National University Student Mathematics Competition not only shows his personal strength, but also reflects the diversified talent cultivation of Tongji SEM.
