On the morning of Oct. 23^rd, the dean’s delegation, led by Prof. Léon LAULUSA, Dean of ESCP Business School (hereinafter referred to as “ESCP”), France, paid a visit to our school. Prof. XIE En, Dean of SEM and Prof. LIANG Jian, Deputy of SEM held a meeting with the delegation and reached a number of consensuses on topics concerning the trends of business education in the new era, the direction of international exploration, and in-depth Sino-French interdisciplinary cooperation, etc. The administration staff of the International Cooperation and Accreditation Office of our school attended the relevant activities.

On the meeting, the two parties briefly reviewed the previous mutual cooperation, and then exchanged ideas on the model upgrading of business schools’ talent cultivation. Both sides agreed that business education should transform towards cultivating talents with professional depth, general education capabilities and AI application capabilities. In addition, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the feasibility of carrying out Sino-foreign cooperative education program and key cooperation in relevant regions such as the Belt and Road Initiative and Southeast Asia.

In 2005, SEM and ESCP began to launch Double Master’s Degree Program and signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2013 to further deepen collaboration in teaching, executive training program, scientific research and other areas. In 2019 and 2020, the signing of non-degree exchange agreement and renewal of master double degree agreement separately expanded the mutual students exchange to bachelor and MBA level.

ESCP Europe, affiliated to the Paris chamber of commerce and industry (CCIP), was established in 1819. It has six campuses in Europe, namely Paris, London, Berlin, Torino, Madrid, and Warsaw. ESCP has more than 6000 students. The Master in Management Program was ranked the 6th worldwide in the British Financial Times Ranking in 2024.
