Thu, Nov 27, 2025

The 4th China Graduate Engineering Management Case Competition, held on November 1-2, 2025 at Beijing Institute of Technology, concluded with remarkable results for Tongji University’s Master of Engineering Management (MEM) teams.

Among 902 entries from 160 institutions, 5 Tongji MEM teams advanced to the finals, clinching four first prizes and one second prize—a new record for the university in both finalist count and first-prize wins in the competition’s history. As co-organizer of the Major Engineering Construction track, Tongji MEM Center also provided a high-end platform for talent exchange and achievement showcase.

Winning cases spanned multiple tracks: the “Digital Aviation Builders” team’s innovative management model for Shanghai Pudong Airport’s T3 expansion won the Major Engineering Construction track first prize; the “Smart Infrastructure Team” took the same track’s top honor with their Xiong’an New Area municipal engineering digital management paradigm; the “Carbon Innovation Team” secured first prize in Industrial Innovation for developing China’s first 1,500-ton carbon fiber cable; the “Zero-Carbon Smart Mobility Team” led in the Carbon Neutrality track with their heavy-duty truck battery-swapping ecosystem solution; and the “Zero-Carbon Smart Construction Vanguard” earned second prize in the same track for Xiong’an Power Dispatching Center’s low-carbon transformation. These achievements reflect Tongji MEM students’ strong integration of theory and practice, laying a solid foundation for their future contributions to national engineering management innovation.
