Director of Admissions & Partner Development

School of Economics and Management (SEM) of Tongji University/China and Mannheim Business School (MBS)/Germany will recruit a part-time Director of Admissions & Partner Development. The Director of Admissions & Partner Development will be responsible for marketing and recruitment, and for establishing a sustainable network with industry and relevant stakeholders, and in engaging and attracting the right candidates to apply to our programs with a direct impact on achieving our admissions goals and revenue targets.
The selected candidate will
· establish marketing goals according to the program requirement and develop traditional and digital marketing and recruitment activities for the B2B and B2C market;
· develop and manage the marketing and sales activities for the various target groups and evaluate their effectiveness;
· identify future partner companies and their needs, building up sustainable partnerships;
· organize and manage marketing outreach events (open houses, speaker series, and information events);
· conduct orientation interviews with experienced executives considering applying to the Executive MBA program and review applications.
The position will be based in China.
Requirements:
· At least a Bachelor’s degree
· Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a customer-service setting in an admissions, recruitment, marketing or high-end sales role, ideally in China or in another Asian country
· Experience in the business education industry
· Proven ability to develop marketing plans, develop and track marketing analytics, and write clear and concise marketing communication pieces.
· Excellent communication & sales skills, strong negotiation skills and proven client management capability
· Ability to cope well under pressure and be naturally results oriented
· Excellent cross-cultural awareness and professional experience across geographic markets – experience in China/Asia and Europe is of particular interest
· Completely fluent in spoken and written English, and ideally also in Mandarin, with additional languages being an asset
