Tongji SIMBA Programme Ranks Among World Top 50 EMBA Programmes

Shanghai International MBA programme of Tongji University is ranked 37th in the recent world EMBA Ranking 2008 evaluated by the authorirtative Financial Times.

 
SIMBA is a Sino-Foreign MBA programme jointly set up by Tongji University in Shanghai and the ENPC MBA in Paris from 2000. SIMBA is the first Joint-International-MBA in all Asia to be AMBA accredited. It is the first time for the School of Economics and Management to attend the world EMBA Ranking. Taking part in such kind of ranking is a crucial attempt in SIMBA Programme’s strategy of internationalization, by which SIMBA could learn from the leading EMBA programmes in the world and establish close links with its peers.
 
The EMBA Ranking by Financial Times is based on the evaluation of three perspectives: namely Comprehensive Student Quality and Career Development, Academic Achievements and Research Ability, and Internationalization. The average annual alumni salary of SIMBA is US$ 125265, which is 102% in average increase from before EMBA. This statistics strongly support SIMBA’s overall strength in the world and is widely acknowledged by international evaluation organizations.
 
In addition, CEIBS, Fudan University and Shanghai National Accounting Institution are the other three business schools in Shanghai ranked among the TOP 50 EMBA programmes.
