The Opening Ceremony Held for the 9th Training Program for the Office of Key Project Inspector of National Development and Reform Commission

The Opening Ceremony of the 9th Training Program for the Office of Key Project Inspector of National Development and Reform Commission was successfully held in SEM on Oct 14, 2008. The program is jointly run by the SEM’s Institute of Engineering Management and the School of Management of Tianjin University.
There are two classes with 55 trainees each. Trainees are required to complete a half-month study in Tongji University and Tianjin University respectively. The training mainly covers the development of national key projects. Tongji University involves in the training of Investment Construction, Project Management, and legal knowledge, while Tianjin University is responsible for the training of economic knowledge.
Among the faculty provided by Tongji University are renowned scholars like Prof. Shizhao DING, the disciplinary founder of Engineering Project Management, Prof. Jianguo CHEN, Prof. Rubao HUANG, and Prof. Guangbin WANG. The training covers four fields as the Organization Theory of Construction Project, Management Methodology, Legal System, and Information Technology Application. The training adopts the teaching modes of seminars, forum, and on-site project inspection.
