On April 28^th 2009, Mr. Nigel Banister, the CEO of Business School of Manchester University and its China Manager Ms. Sherry Fu paid a visit to our school. Huo Jia-zhen, the Dean of SEM and Wang Guangbin, the Vice Dean of SEM together with Wu Boning met with the guests. The two sides planed to sign a formal cooperation agreement in June this year. Manchester Business School is to set up an office in Tongji. Since autumn 2010, the two sides will operate a dual-degree MBA project of construction engineering construction yearly. Each side is committed to half of the courses, and the graduates will get degrees from both schools. At the same time, high-end project management training will be held annually, courses of which will be assumed by professors from Tongji.
