SEM-TONGJI Invited to Attend Irish President Mary McAleese Business Breakfast

On June 18, 2010, SEM-Tongji was invited by Irish Limerick University and Dublin City University (hereinafter referred to as DCU) to attend Business Breakfast hosted by Irish President Mary McAleese in Shangri-la Hotel. Prof. Jianwei WU, Vice Dean for International Relations and Collaboration of SEM, and Ms. Yuexian SHOU, Vice Director of SEM were present the meeting on behalf of SEM. In the afternoon, the faculty and postgraduate delegation of DCU also visited SEM-Tongji. Prof. Theodore Lynn, Director of LINK Research Centre gave an excellent presentation to SEM faculty and students. After the lecture, the two parties explored collaborative possibilities in mutual students exchange program in undergraduate and postgraduate level, and joint research, etc.
SEM-TONGJI has established close relationships with top Irish universities, such as University of College Dublin, University of Dublin-Trinity College Dublin, and Limerick University.
Dublin City University is one of the Top Three leading Irish Universities. Established in 1980, DCU is also the youngest university in Ireland. DCU has a very good reputation in the area of E-commerce and E-business.
