School of Economics and Management, Tongji University (SEM-Tongji) and Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) jointly celebrated the 8th anniversary of their collaboration in Doctor of Business Administration Program at Sino-French Centre of Tongji University on July 16^th 2010. Prof. Qi DONG, Vice President of Tongji University; Mr Grégory Wegmann, Education Consul of France in Shanghai; Prof. Jiazhen HUO, Dean of SEM-Tongji; Prof. Thierry Grange, Dean of GEM, faculty and students presented at the ceremony. Prof. Guangbin WANG, Vice Dean of SEM-Tongji, hosted the event. A ceremony was held at the end of the celebration to award Honorary Doctorate to Prof. Jiazhen HUO by GEM.

 

Launched in May 2002, the Grenoble-Tongji DBA Program has up till now enrolled 79 students from around the world among whom 19 have successfully completed their study and got the DBA degree. The Program aims to develop managers’ ability of independent research by combining their managerial experience with the management theories and to improve the decision-making process at companies and other institutions. The Program was accredited by AMBA in December 2007 and is now the only AMBA accredited DBA program in mainland China.
