Dean of Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, Canada Visits SEM

On the 26th of March, 2012, Prof. Dr. Daniel Shapiro, Dean of Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University (SFU) visited SEM, Tongji. Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM and Prof. CHEN Song, Deputy Dean of SEM, together with Prof. Anders Aspling, Guest Professor of SEM, warmly welcomed the guest. The two parties briefly introduced its history, features and strategies and explored potential collaborations on the exchange program of PhD students and faculty and joint research, ect. An MOU is to be signed after the meeting.
Beedie School of Business is the Faculty of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University, a Canadian public research university. It has achieved international accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). The Beedie School of Business has also committed to integrating the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). In 2011, the school was ranked among the Top 25 business schools in the world for management research.
