SEM Holds Meeting of Alumni Affairs

On the 2nd of July, SEM holds a meeting to discuss alumni affairs. Mr. CEHNG Dong, Vice President of Pudong Oversea Chinese Community, and Mr. WEI Longxiang, Former Deputy Dean of SEM were invited to attend the meeting. Leaders from university level and staff from responsible departments participated in the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Dr. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM. He expressed that it had been an essential and urgent task for SEM to accelerate its development by focusing on alumni, condensing their strength, and seeking common development of SEM. Mr. WEI and Mr. CHENG introduced respectively the cooperation of SEM Alumni Association with Pudong Oversea Chinese Community and its operation. The participants made discussion on the management structure of alumni association, its key value, information collection and database updating. Advices were offered, and valuable opinions were shared by the participants.
