On March 7th, 2013 SEM held a psychological counseling seminar for 2012 doctoral students at Jiading Campus, delivered by Ms. SHEN Hongxin, a national psychological consultant, as the guest speaker. Dr. CHEN Xun, Director of Postgraduate Student Affair Office, presented at the seminar.

Ms. SHEN shared her own stories with students and offered advice on many topics, such as how to achieve a balance between love and study, how to make the best use of your time, how to communicate with people around, etc. Also, she patiently replied questions from the students. At last, Dr. CHEN made an closing remark, expressing her wish that the students should work harder and be dedicated to research work, at the same time achieve a balance between study and play.
