Party to Build International Friendship
Thu, Sep 12, 2013
On the afternoon of Sept. 8th, the International Department of the School of Economics and Management held the Buddy Program on the third floor of Building A in order to build up a connection between Chinese students of the school and their foreign counterparts. About two hundred students took part in the activity, which was sponsored by HSBC.
The party began at half past two, and only a few minutes later the place was already crowded with participants. They soon found three rooms with vacant chairs awaiting them to sit in, as well as beautifully designed posts on the wall giving them a warm welcome. Shortly afterwards, students, in spite of their various background, began chatting and interacting with each other with delight. Free drinks were served, and at the same time, gifts from the sponsor were delivered. Everyone there seemed to have found interesting topics to discuss upon. In the end, there was a lottery, and the lucky guys who hit the jackpot were given a large prize by HSBC.
The activity came to an end with happiness and joy, but the relationship between both Chinese and foreign students would carry on.
