On the afternoon of Sept.13th, the new semester’s Buddy Program came to a successful conclusion. Foreign students from all parts of the world had a friendly and deep interaction with Chinese students. All overseas students have found their Chinese buddies and exchanged contact information with each other. The activity consisted of interactive game, lucky draw and performance. A popular dance Small Apple joined by all the participants at the end brought the whole activity into full swing.

 

Buddy Program is sponsored by SEM International Office and organized by SEM’s International Department. It provides an excellent platform for students from home and abroad to communicate with each other. These activities can enable overseas students to adjust to life in Tongji as soon as possible, and meanwhile, effectively promote the friendship between overseas and Chinese students.

 

Buddy Night, the follow-up activity of Buddy program, was smoothly held in Maia’s Bar on Sept. 20th. Surrounded by dazzling light and exciting music, overseas students had dinner and chatted pleasantly with their Chinese friends. All students played games together after dinner, which has deepened their friendship. Everyone fully enjoyed that night.
