In order to offer MBA students an opportunity to experience surperb overseas management ideologies and different culture, the MBA program of School of Economics and Management, Tongji University (hereinafter referred to as Tongji SEM) has organized annual Overseas Study Tour for program students since 2011. On Sep. 28, 2014, under the lead of MBA program Deputy Director Li Yihong, about 50 MBA students started their 11-day Study Tour in Eastern United States after over half year’s meticulous planning and organizing. Students experienced classes in four world-class business school: Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School, Columbia Business School and Yale Management School, visited universities like Princeton, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the United States Military Academy at West Point and many world famous enterprises such as UBS and State Street. They also made in-depth conversations with those enterprise Senior Executives. All the students had learnt many new ideas resulted from the cultural shock between the West and East and experience an unforgettable American lifestyle.
