Zero Breakthrough of First Gold Medal for China! Tongji SEM Girl, Winner of Open Water Swimming at the 2019FINA World Championship!

On the morning of July 14th, Xin XIN, the top Chinese open water swimmer, won the women’s 10KM open water competition at the 2019 FINA World Championship, Gwangju, South Korea. She swam in the record of 1:54:47.20, taking 0.9 seconds ahead of the American competitor.
This is not only the first time for the Chinese swimmer to win the Gold Medal of Open Water Event, but also a breakthrough of the Asian swimmers.
Xin XIN is a star-on-the-riseathlete of Chinese National Swimming Team, and also an undergraduate student majoring in Public Administration in Tongji SEM.
