On November 13^th, 2021, hosted by Tongji University, the Forum on High-quality Development of Innovation-driven Renewable Resources Industry under the Background of Green Development, was held at Tongji SEM. Professor CHENG Mingwang, Deputy Dean, delivered an opening speech on behalf of Tongji SEM, Professor LIU Guangfu served as the chairman of the forum. Experts from the fields of circular economy, sociology, environmental science and renewable resources attended the event.

The forum discussed the current situation and problems of renewable resources industry under the background of green development, the application and management of internet artificial intelligence information technology, the path of energy saving and emission reduction driven by innovation under carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the evolution of waste resource symbiosis network, illustrated the connotation of green development and high-quality development of renewable resources, and put forward effective technological paths and solutions for the green and low-carbon development of renewable resources industry.
