On November 4th, Tongji SEM invited Dr. ZHANG Lijian, Head of Innovative Products Department of Shanghai Stock Exchange, to give a lecture on “The Basic Principles and Practice Analysis of ETF” through the online platform of Tencent Conference. CHEN Qing, in charge of Haitong Securities Investment Base, also made a detailed introduction to the “2022 Shanghai University ETF Elite Selection Competition” and mobilized and guided the event registration.

Dr. ZHANG Lijian has worked in the fund and derivatives business filed for more than 10 years. In the lecture, he introduced the development pattern and product design of ETF market, including the development process of ETF market, product layout of Shanghai Stock Exchange, ETF concept, index concept, ETF product design mechanism, operation mechanism, redemption transaction mechanism and so on. He also shared the investment strategy of ETF products according to the recent market situation, including various types of ETF, various investment strategies.
