On March 28,2023, Elsevier released the 2022 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. Five scholars from the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University were listed, including XIE En, LIANG Jian and KENNETH A. KIM in the discipline of Business Administration, LIU Huchen in the discipline of Management Science and Engineering, and XIONG Wei in the discipline of Public Administration. Biography

In recent years, LIU has published more than 70 papers in well-known journals at home and abroad, including 45 papers in high-level journals in the field of quality and reliability management, 24 papers in IEEE repertory, and 16 highly cited papers. As the project leader, he has presided over 10 national and provincial level research projects, including the major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the youth projects (post-assessment with special merit). LIU’s achievements have been applied to medical services, heavy machinery, weapons and equipment, etc. He has applied for 12 invention patents and won the First Prize of Shanghai Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences, the Second Prize of Shanghai Natural Science (first finisher) and the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked 4th).
