Recently, the 2024 Times Higher Education China Discipline Ratings were released, and a total of 15 disciplines from Tongji University were rated A+, including 2 disciplines from Tongji SEM, Management Science and Engineering and Business Administration.

Since 2020, the Times Higher Education China Discipline Ratings has become the only performance assessment scale based on the Chinese Ministry of Education’s discipline classification standards to compare Chinese universities with universities in other countries. The ratings cover 83 disciplines in 1885 research universities worldwide, 86 of which are in mainland China. The assessment performance indicators cover five key areas, including teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income, and are designed to truly reflect the overall competitiveness of each university’s disciplines.
