Summer Immersion Programme (suspended after pandemic)
A three-week international Summer University (ISU) jointly offered by Tongji-SEM and WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria), is customized for advanced undergraduates, both Chinese and international, who are of great interest in international business management and global economy.
It has been successfully held in 2018 and 2019, over 30 students from all over the world are recruited into the ISU each time. It also gives a stage for students with different background to show their own culture in various aspects.
One of the key milestones of the ISU program is comprise a group project related to the internationalization strategy of a foreign company in China. Students will work in groups, and each group will be assigned a different company and task by coaching throughout the period. It is a good opportunity for students to work on the business case and do research by themselves.
