What you can expect
In the new global environment of business, when firms have an active presence and operations in several countries and markets around the world, they are more and more exposed to geopolitical risks. Their managers need thus to grasp and be able to actively mitigate increasing international risks, but also seize opportunities.
This two-day Workshop will empower you to do so.
· It will highlight and explain the risks stemming from political choices made by different countries where you operate, the threats to business interests from different actors in the geopolitical arena.
· It will provide the general framework and background for understanding international political and economic relations, the power relationships between States and also with other actors in international interactions that impact business activity, including Global Corporations and International Economic Organizations.
· You will be given tools for forecasting risks and opportunities, for mitigating risks and analyzing opportunities.
Content of the Workshop
A. PART I illustrates the relevance of GeoPolitics for Business. You will discover many examples and case studies of recent geopolitical events that created risks and problems for managers of companies in your industry.
B. PART II details the fundamentals of GeoPolitics: the concepts, issues and models needed for geopolitical analysis of risks and opportunities.
C. PART III presents the main tools of GeoPolitical analysis:

Payment: No payment is due until you have received confirmation of your admission. Payment is due 15 days before the Workshop and refund in case of non-show is limited to 50% of the fees.
