At the 105th anniversary of Tongji University, the Staff Union initiated an essay competition and a speech contest, with “Tongji Spirits Promote Improvements” as the theme. The competition attracted much participation with almost one hundred essays. Finally, there are 2 essays elected to be the Special Award, 3 for the First Prize, 5 for the Second Prize, as well as 10 for the Third Prize and 14 very good compositions. Especially, Prof. LE Yun from School of Economics and Management has won the Special Award for the composition titled “To be a true Tongjier”. In addition, another professor from SEM, Dr. Zhang Naiying’s essay has got the Second Prize with the title of “I’m a Tongjier”.
