From 24 to 29 September, six-day excursion to Taiwan of Tongji EMBA Program, Cohort 21 and 22, was accomplished successfully and led by Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM, and Dr. CHENG Guoping, Director of EMBA Program.

The visit is to learn from successful Taiwan enterprises and experience Taiwan custom and culture. The first stop is to visit Sun Yat-Sen University. The president, Prof. YANG Hongdun, warmly welcomed the group. The seminar was delivered by Prof. ZHAO Bixiao, who used a case study on “Ting Hsin International Group” to introduce how Taiwan enterprises develop integrated with Chinese traditions and its culture background. On the evening of 28 September, a welcome dinner was hosted by Mr. YE Kuangshi, Taiwan’s Transport Minister, and Mr. XIE Weijun, Director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
