Tongji team is composed of Prof. LE Yun, Prof. HE Qinghua, Prof. SHI Qian and Prof. LI Yongkui from Department of Construction Management and Real Estate and Prof. LU Yunbo from Department of Business Administration. The project team made of five university teams, including Tongji, got funded by Major Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. The project, Management theory, method and innovative research application of China’s major infrastructure projects, will be launched in 2014 and be supported with a research fund of RMB 15 million in a 5-year funding period. The main chief of this project is Prof. SHENG Zhaohan from Nanjing University. Prof. SHENG is also the adjunctive professor of TONGJI SEM. The whole team includes 93 expects and scholars, among which one is Yangtze Scholar, two are the winners of Excellent Youth Fundation, and four oversea professors.

The research project is based on Chinese background with the perspective of globalization of resource allocation. With its target of sustainable scientific development, the project focuses on five research directions, namely, construction management innovation of China major projects, decision analysis and decision making, organization behavior and its mode innovation, onsite coordination and control, social responsibility, and industry competition and sustainability.
