Tongji SEM will send 180 students to 56 partner schools around the world for exchange in academic year 2017-2018. The number of exchange students this year is almost same as that of last year. There are 61 students selected into the double degree programs, and 119 in the non-degree exchange programs, whom which 68 are undergraduates and 112 are postgraduates.

What’s more, the number of SEM students awarded with the scholarship is as follows.

• 17 undergraduates and 45 postgraduates are awarded with the China Government Scholarship by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
• SEM sets aside its own scholarship to sponsor 64 students whose family has financial difficulties but very excellent in academic performance to go abroad to broaden their international vision.
• Another two students were awarded with French Eiffel Excellence Scholarship by French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They are studying in ESCP Europe, France to continue pursuing their Master’s degrees this September.

International cooperation and exchange is one of SEM’s significant features and advantages. SEM keeps exerting a lot of efforts to establish new international partners, to find funding of scholarships for our students to encourage them go abroad. Just as our mission goes, SEM is committed to develop leading professionals for China and the world who are capable of solving practical problems while addressing the challenges of business and society with a global perspective, responsibility and in a sustainable way. This could never be realized if we do not help them broaden their horizons in international learning experience in today’s world.
