On the morning of 11^th October, Dr. Christian Kahl, Vice Rector for Research and Development of Kazakhstan Almaty Management University visited School of Economics and Management, Tongji University. Prof. CHEN Song, Deputy Dean of SEM and Director of SEM’s International Cooperation and Accreditation Office warmly welcomed the guest.

The two parties have explored potential collaboration of faculty exchange, joint research, co-coaching of master and PhD students, joint case writing in the field of “one road and one belt”, and other training cooperation opportunities.

In order to integrate into the “one road and one belt” national strategy, SEM signed an MOU on student exchange with Almaty Management University in December 2016.

Established in 1988, Kazakhstan Almaty Management University is the first business school in Kazakhstan, which offers bachelor’s degree in economics, MBA and DBA. Almaty Management University currently boasts 230 faculty and over 3200 students.
