The Institute of Civil-Military Integration Management is devoted to theoretical researches, providing advices and suggestions, education and training, innovative services concerning the management of civil-military integration. It is also to boost the implementation of national civil-military integration strategy. As a practice of Tongji University, a comprehensive university, to bring its advantages of multidisciplinary resources, talents and external exchanges and to implement the “strategy of civil-military integration and development” in the 19th CPC National Congress, the Institute is striving to become a national first-class and high-end think-tank with Chinese characteristics.

The Institute, established on the basis of Tongji SEM, is to focus on researches of civil-military integration strategy, to stick to the central task of “promoting the managing ability of China’s civil-military integration”, to build a management and research team consisting of full-time and part-time, military and civilian members, to conduct fundamental, prospective and comprehensive researches on theories of civil-military integration management. What’s more, the Institute is to provide advices to tackle sensitive and thorny practical issues, to strengthen the construction of this discipline as well as the education and training of talents in this field.
