From Jun 29^th to 30^th 2019, the first summer school of outstanding students was held successfully in Tongji SEM. 80 participants from 28 top universities in China attended the opening ceremony on Jun 29^th.

The summer school aims to invite excellent undergraduate graduates to experience the profound culture of Tongji University with over one hundred years of history, to understand the disciplinary advantages and features of Tongji SEM, to attract outstanding applicants, and improve the quality of postgraduate students.

The first summer school came to a close with great applause from the participants. The second summer school is going to be hold at Tongji SEM from July 21^st to 23^rd.
